Hello, hello. My name is Patrick. I am 27 years old and living in awesome Tempe, AZ. I am currently in the process of getting my Masters of Fine Arts in 3d Animation. My focus is 3D Modeling. I am also constantly improving my illustration and photography skills.

So, It has once again been a little longer than I had hoped between journal entries. Sorry about that! So, what have I been up to? Well, Me and my lady moves out to the SF Bay area in June. I completed my last semester of classes at the Academy of Art University ground campus and made out with an A in my History of VFX and a B in my Figurative Sculpture (Damn me and my late assignments!)
My lady and I decided we didn't much care for the SF Bay area (at least not at this juncture in our lives) and got our asses back to the awesomeness that is the Phoenix Metro area. Feels like I am home again :) This is good.
I am highly, HIGHLY motivated. T

Fall Session

Alright, so, its now the fall session at AAU and I am pumped up and ready to go. 2 weeks in now! This semester I am taking The History and Techniques of Visual FX online and Figurative Sculpture at the Campus and really enjoying them both.
On that note, yes, we got moved to the bay area. This move kinda sucked. I will admit; I miss phoenix, but this move was the right thing for us in terms of school and industry connections. I doubt we will stay here forever but we will make the best of it while we are here. We ended up moving from Berkeley down to San Leandro. It is a little more normal in terms of people and just all around living than Ber

So, I am retyping everything I just typed cause DA wants me to go ape shit. :) Anyway, I took the summer off school to pursue a 4 month internship at a marketing and ad agency here in Phoenix. I finished up my second week and I have to say, I am enjoying it quite a bit. Some of the work isn't first choice work. . but hey, I am an intern and it is teaching me a lot about print media. . so, I can't complain!
Aside from that I am also editing a lot of photos that I have taken over the last year. Spending a lot of time in Lightroom at the moment. Looking forward to getting into Photoshop after all the color corrections have been taken care of.

Yeah there are more posts coming very soon. Especially now that classes are starting up again. Ill be posting some photography in the next couple of days but after that it will be sculpture, 3D Models and illustration varying from concept to storyboards.
